This is an abstract depiction of the Purusha Sukta hymn of the Rig Veda.
The Purusha (the Supreme Being) is androgynous with a thousand heads, a thousand eyes and a thousand feet. Three androgynous heads adn several eyes are depicted. The Purusha was sacrificed in the fire by the Devas and then the Universe was born. Depicted on the eyelid as green flora, brown Earth, blue Water, white Sky and golden Stars.
