Dr. Shantala is a practising Obstetrician and gynaecologist in Bengaluru, India. Her love for colors has always vied with her passion for work. The creativity yearns to find an outlet despite a busy schedule. Profession is a stark reality and art is an escape into fantasy. Her works strive to find an expression , be it the mundane flowwer depected with a soul or the iconography of various Hindu Gods. She also attempts to find a visula expressions to the various thoughts/ hymns of Vedas. Space is another fascination which has tried to find an expression on canvas. She is also a published bilingual writer ( English and Kannada)
